If you are unhappy with your care or the services you have received, it is important to let us know so that we can improve.<\/p>\n<h2>OUR AIMS &amp; OBJECTIVES<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>We aim to provide a service that meets the needs of our service users and we strive for a high standard of care;<\/li>\n<li>We welcome suggestions from service users and from our staff about the safety and quality of service, treatment and care we provide;<\/li>\n<li>We are committed to an effective and fair complaints system; and<\/li>\n<li>We support a culture of openness and willingness to learn from incidents, including complaints.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>OUR COMPLAINTS PRINCIPLES<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Service users are encouraged to provide suggestions, compliments, concerns and complaints and we offer a range of ways to do it.<\/li>\n<li>All complainants are treated with respect, sensitivity and confidentiality.<\/li>\n<li>All complaints are handled without prejudice or assumptions about how minor or serious they are. The emphasis is on resolving the problem.<\/li>\n<li>Service users and staff can make complaints on a confidential basis or anonymously if they wish, and be assured that their identity will be protected.<\/li>\n<li>Service users will not to be discriminated against or suffer any unjust adverse consequences as a result of making a complaint about standards of care and service.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>MANAGING COMPLAINTS<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>All staff are expected to encourage service users to provide feedback about the service, including complaints, concerns, suggestions and compliments.<\/li>\n<li>Staff are expected to attempt resolution of complaints and concerns at the point of service, wherever possible and within the scope of their role and responsibility.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>RESOLUTION<\/h2>\n<p>The process of resolving the problem will include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>an expression of regret to the user for any harm or distress suffered;<\/li>\n<li>an explanation or information about what is known, without speculating or blaming others; considering the problem and the outcome the user is seeking and proposing a solution; and confirming that the service user is satisfied with the proposed solution.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Our staff will consult with their manager if addressing the problem is beyond their responsibilities.<\/p>\n<h2>IF THE COMPLAINT IS NOT RESOLVED<\/h2>\n<p>Complaints that are not resolved at the point of service, or that are received in writing and require follow up, are regarded as formal complaints.<\/p>\n<p>If the complaint is not resolved at the point of service, staff are expected to provide the complainant with the formal complaints policy.<\/p>\n<p>Our designated complaints manager coordinates resolution of formal complaints in close liaison with the staff who are directly involved.<\/p>\n<p>If you are unhappy with how your complain is resolved at our clinic, please seek advice from the Parliamentary and Health Service Ombudsman:<\/p>\n<p>Making a complaint | Parliamentary and Health Service Ombudsman (PHSO)<\/p>\n<p>Alternativley, we are a member of the Cosmetic Redress Scheme and you can contact them here:<\/p>\n<p>How It Works (cosmeticredress.co.uk)<\/p>\n<h2>PROMOTING FEEDBACK<\/h2>\n<p>You can give us feedback in a number of ways:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Verbally to a member of staff;<\/li>\n<li>Via our customer feedback form (available via email from info@regentsparkaesthetics.co.uk);<\/li>\n<li>Via an independent review site such as Google or Save Face;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>TIMEFRAMES<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Formal complaints are acknowledged in writing or in person within 48 hours.<\/li>\n<li>The acknowledgment provides contact details for the person who is handling the complaint, how the complaint will be dealt with and how long it is expected to take.<\/li>\n<li>If a complaint raises issues that require notification or consultation with an external body, the notification or consultation will occur within 3 days of those issues being identified.<\/li>\n<li>Formal complaints are investigated and resolved within 28 days.<\/li>\n<li>If the complaint is not resolved within that time period days, the complainant will be provided with an update.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"","protected":false},"author":0,"featured_media":0,"parent":0,"menu_order":0,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","template":"","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"_yoast_wpseo_title":"","_yoast_wpseo_metadesc":"The Regents Park Aesthetics complaints policy for Regents Park Aesthetics Berkhamsted: how to raise a concern, how we respond and the independent routes open to you.","footnotes":""},"class_list":["post-1025","page","type-page","status-publish","hentry"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v28.0 -
